synagogues of the Jews - Acts 13:5 2. The sorcerer Elymas and the conversion of
the procounsel, Sergius Paulus - Acts
13:6-12 B. Antioch Of Pisidia - Acts 13:13-52 1. Paul preached in the synagogue - Acts
13:16-41 2. A week later almost all the city gathered
(Jews and Gentiles) to listen to
Paul and Barnabas - Acts 13:44 a. The Jews became jealous and spoke against
Paul - Acts 13:45 b. Paul and Barnabas recognized their
obligation to announce the gospel to
the Gentiles because the Jews had rejected it - Acts 13:46-47 3.
The Gentiles
rejoiced and many believed, but the Jews began to persecute Paul and Barnabas - Acts 13:48-50 4. Barnabas and Paul went to another region
to preach the good news - Acts 13:51 C. Iconium, Lystra, And Derbe - Acts 14:1-23 1.
Many believed
among the Jews and Gentiles, but those that didn't believe began to persecute the believers as well as Paul and
Barnabas - Acts 14:2, 5 2. Paul and Barnabas escaped to Lystra and
Derbe where they continued to proclaim
the gospel - Acts 14:6-7 a. The people began to worship Barnabas and
Paul as if they were gods because
they had healed a lame man - Acts 14:8-14 b. Some
Jews from Antioch of Pisidia y from Iconium stirred up the people so that they stoned Paul - Acts 14:19 c. Paul
and Barnabas went to Derbe where they won many converts - Acts 14:20 D.
They Returned
To Lystra, Iconium, And Antioch, Encouraging The Believers And Naming Elders In Each Church - Acts 14:21-23 III. THE JERUSALEM COUNCIL - ACTS 15:1-35 A. Some Jews Began To Teach That It Was Necessary To Obey The Law
Of Moses - Acts 15:1, 5 B.
Paul And
Barnabas And Some Others Were Sent To Jerusalem To Discuss The Matter With The Other Apostles And The Elders Of The

15:31 CONCLUSION - AFTER HAVING TRAVELED THROUGH CYPRUS,
ANTIOCH OF PISIDIA, ICONIUM, LYSTRA, AND DERBE PREACHING THE GOSPEL AND
FACING OPPOSITION, PAUL AND BARNABAS HAD TO DISCUSS THE PLACE OF THE GENTILES. THE COUNCIL HAD A PEACEFUL RESULT, AND PAUL AND BARNABAS RETURNED TO ANTIOCH TO TEACH AND PREACH THE WORD OF THE LORD. MEMORY VERSES -
