II. MAIN THEME - REVELATION 22 - Jesus is coming quickly, and those who serve Him will have the right to the

   tree of life, and enter into the city of God.  Those who reject Him will be destroyed.

         1).  A view of eternal blessings - verses 1-5

               a.  The river of life coming from the throne of God - verse 1; 7:15-17; 21:6;

III.  PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

   1.  Since the coming of Jesus brings blessing for Christians and vengeance upon our enemies, we should expect His coming with

      joy - 1 Cor 16:22; 2 Thes 1:10; Rev 22:20

   2.  Jesus is reigning now, and is fulfilling the prophecies about the Messiah ruling the nations of the earth, so we should be

      excited about our role in the army of Jesus - Eph 6:11-18; 1Thes 5:8-10; 2 Cor 10:4; 1Thes 5:8-10; Rev 19:11-16; 20:6

   3.  The blessings God has prepared for us are described in human terms, but are greater than we can think -    1 Cor 2:9; Heb

      11:16; Rev 21:10-22:5
